January Favorites

I know it's only January 26th, but hey we're pretty close to the end of January! And plus, I'm totally swamped with school planning, so I'm gonna post this early because I'll totally forget. I finished with one of my February guest posts and it was definitely a lot more time consuming than I anticipated, but I'm glad I'm done and had fun doing it!

I always feel like in January that I should expand my collection of products with new things because hey, it's a new year! So I did and I'm really glad about it. This will be a mix of all different things: some old, some brand new, some beauty, some makeup, and some totally random, so let's go!

  • Dermalogica Clean Start All Over Clear: I'm obsessed with this toner. I stopped using the rest of the Clean Start line because it was too expensive to replenish, but this is the same one from the original purchase. It obviously lasts a long time and it doesn't sting like other toners.
  • Yes to Tomatoes Daily Clarifying Cleanser: I was using the other cleanser in this brand and I didn't like it that much, but once I started using this with my Clairsonic, I saw an immediate difference in the number of breakouts and redness I had. It's 96% Natural and maintains your skin's PH balance.
  • Covergirl Natureluxe Silk Foundation in Dune: Okay, it takes a lot to impress me foundation wise, but this does it! It's so light and easy to blend. I love that it smells amazing (cucumbers!) and it has so much coverage for being so light! Definitely a keeper.
  • Aquolina Pink Sugar Perfume: I don't use a lot of perfumes, mostly just body sprays, but I absolutely love this one. Alyssa got this for me for Christmas and it smells so sweet and amazing like cotton candy!
  • L'Oreal Telescopic Mascara: I've only had this for a few weeks, but I've noticed a dramatic difference in how long and defined my lashes are. The wand is very skinny and allows you to get really close to the eye on the top and bottom lashes One of my favorite mascaras I've ever used!
  • Garnier Skin Renew Anti Puff Eye Roller: I have really dark and puffy undereyes, not because of a lack of sleep, but genetics. I use this in the morning and night before I put on my makeup and after I take it off! It has caffeine so it definitely makes my eyes feel more awake and less puffy!
  • Slatkin & Co. Frosted Cupcake Candle: This is my go to candle, maybe it's because I'm obsessed with cupcakes, maybe it's because it smells ahhhmazing! Literally the second I light it, I smell it and it lasts for hours after I blow it out. It is really pricey, but I'm glad I got it on a 2 for 1 at Bath and Body Works.
  • Clarisonic Mia: I got this wonderful gadget for Christmas after reading tons and tons of positive reviews. I will never go back to using my hands or a wash cloth again. Instantly I felt a difference. It gets all the impurities out of your skin and gently exfoliates with your facial cleanser in 60 seconds of circular motions around your face and then you will not believe how soft your face is afterwards! It's expensive, but I feel like it was so worth it for me because of how many products don't work or irritate my skin.
  •  This is another one of my favorites for the month! I adore scarves, but this one is by far my favorite! Courtney gave it to me for Christmas and I love it! It has all of my favorite colors and it's freaking leopard! So adorbs.
  • Pretty Little Liars: Okay, so honestly this show has no substance. It is totally mindless, but addicting. I watched it a little bit before this half of the season, but I started watching every Monday with Alyssa since it premiered again the first week in January. It keeps me guessing and watching and reading spoilers like all the time. It always surprises me and keeps me enticed. Murder, secrets, lies, and amazingly dressed girls, what more could you ask for!? :)

xoxo

  2. You're definitely welcome! I know how that is. I like having the opinions of real people, not just the companies selling them. Thanks for stopping by. :)
